The CUMULUS cutbacks have hit FAYETTEVILLE, NC, with the FAYETTEVILLE OBSERVER reporting that at least six on-air personalities at the cluster have been laid off. 

Among the departures reported by the OBSERVER are Talk WFNC-A newsman STEVE BLACKMON, AC WQSM Hot AC WQSM (Q-98) MD MATT CAIN and JENN LUMAYE, Rock WRCQ (ROCK 103)'s SEAN O'BRIEN and ANN THOMAS, and Oldies WFVL-WFNC-F (OLDIES 106.9) host MARTY WEBB.
