Raleigh's Fan Adds ESPN Radio

CAPITOL BROADCASTING Sports WCMC (99.9 FM THE FAN)/RALEIGH-DURHAM inks a affiliation deal with ESPN RADIO, effective JANUARY 5th. ESPN RADIO programming was dropped by crosstown MCCLATCHEY Sports WRBZ-A (SPORTS RADIO 850 THE BUZZ) and WDNC-A (620 THE BULL) earlier this month. WCMC is presently affiliated with SPORTING NEWS RADIO.

The move will replace the local "THE FANATICS" morning show with ESPN RADIO's "MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING," with THE CONTENT FACTORY's DAN PATRICK replaced by ESPN's COLIN COWHERD in late mornings. "FANATICS" co-host MIKE MANISCALCO will host a local hour at noon, and the station will retain SCOTT JACKSON and MARK THOMAS' local "THE INSIDERS" afternoon show.
