UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH/NASHVILLE artist RANDY HOUSER stepped in for RONNIE MILSAP for a performance of CHARLIE RICH's hit, "Behind Close Doors," during last night's (10/28) MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME induction ceremony in NASHVILLE. RONNIE cancelled his appearance at the last minute, but RANDY was ready to fill in after a quick rehearsal beforehand.
He said: "I was just amazed to be the guy they called at the last minute to fill in for Mr. MILSAP. It was an honor to be a part of this ceremony. I'm such a fan of the musicians represented tonight. I have been for a long time."
RANDY got to rub elbows with stars like PERCY SLEDGE, KEITH RICHARDS and KID ROCK, along with fellow Country artists LEE ANN WOMACK, KIX BROOKS (of BROOKS & DUNN) and GEORGE JONES. The MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME inducted BILLY SHERRILL, BOOKER T. & THE MGs, THE CRICKETS, DUANE EDDY, AL KOOPER, THE MEMPHIS HORNS and the MUSCLE SHOALS RHYTHM SECTION in its Class of 2008.
