CBS RADIO Top 40/Rhythmic KZON (101.5 JAMZ)/PHOENIX brings in PHOENIX radio vet SUPER SNAKE for afternoons beginning MONDAY (11/3). SNAKE previously starred at crosstown rivals KZZP and KKFR.
In a press release, CBS Radio Sr. VP/Market Manager MARK WATERS commented on bringing SNAKE in saying, "Success starts with talent and this all-star team consists of winners that will deliver entertainment for our listeners and results for our advertisers. SUPER SNAKE in the afternoon drive is major market on air talent that will lead JAMZ to success."
What does the arrival of SUPER SNAKE mean for current KZON APD/afternoons STRAWBERRY? KZON does have a morning show opening following the departure of KID AND RUBEN IN THE MORNING earlier this month. Before coming to PHOENIX, STRAWBERRY did have a stint in morning drive at KYLD/SAN FRANCISCO in 2005-2006.
