GREATER MEDIA Chairman/CEO/Pres. PETER SMYTH has posted his monthly column on the company website. This month's musing is called "The Radio Recovery Act."

Writes SMYTH, "If you are like most of us, you have watched with great interest the steady stream of initiatives coming out of WASHINGTON that attempt to stem the bad economic news the credit crisis has spawned. Well, I do not have a crystal ball, nor do I have any insider information, but I do know that I have several unshakable beliefs that will once again be proven out.

"They are straightforward and simple, and I want to share them with you:

"1) The end is in sight. The credit crisis will abate in two quarters. (I am just not sure WHICH two quarters. I’m like everyone else!)

"2) Radio will survive, retrench, and once again prosper."
