FCC Appoints Davis, Hadfield To Katrina Panel

CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO SVP, Engineering STEVE DAVIS and ENTERCOM VP of Engineering MARTIN D. HADFIELD are among several broadcasters and public officials named to the FCC's Independent Panel Reviewing the Impact of Hurricane KATRINA on Communications Networks. 

The panel will hold its first meeting on JANUARY 30 and will report on the disaster's impact on the telecommunications and media infrastructure, with recommendations for improvements in disaster preparedness, network reliability, and communications among first responders by JUNE 15.
