KFRG & Stater Bros. Charities Give Away 1,100 Bikes To Kids

Raised $482,000 This Year

CBS RADIO Country KFRG/RIVERSIDE-SAN BERNARDINO will team up with STATER BROS. CHARITIES, the newly established philanthropic arm of STATER BROS. MARKETS, to present more than 1,100 brand-new bicycles to 4th graders in the SAN BERNARDINO community on SUNDAY (11/9). The giveaways will begin at 1p (PT) outside the ARROWHEAD CREDIT UNION STADIUM.

The students that are receiving the bikes were nominated by their school teachers for being "outstanding role models in their classrooms as well as being children who might be in need this holiday season."

The bike donations are part of the 7th Annual STATER BROS. CHARTIES/K-FROGGERS 4 KIDS RADIOTHON, which took place OCTOBER 14th and 15th. The RADIOTHON raised more than $482,000 for LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. For every $200 donation that a listener made, STATER BROS. CHARITIES and its business partners donated a bike to a student.
