New WSTO Studios On The Air

As part of a $3 million renovation of the SOUTH CENTRAL/EVANSVILLE cluster's broadcast facilities, Top 40 WSTO (HOT 96) PD STAN "THE MAN" PRIEST had the honor of doing the first break from the new studios at 1:25p (CT) today.

STAN joked about the 5 months of construction and he thanked for bearing with them as they heard saws, hammering and heavy equipment being operated while the mics were on. "It's been fun and we've even had some of the construction crew on the air. With 96% of the work done, the end result are showcase studios that we're proud to be working in."

The rest of the stations in the cluster -- AC WIKY, Classic Rocker WABX, Country WLFW, and Adult Hits WEJK -- will go on the air in their new studios in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, new to WSTO is night nut NATE. He's inbound from CITADEL Top 40 KZMG (MAGIC 93.1)/BOISE.
