CUMULUS Rock WFTK (96 ROCK)/CINCINNATI morning "TWO ANGRY GUYS" co-host RICHARD SKINNER has exited the station, according to the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's JOHN KIESEWETTER. SKINNER told KIESEWETTER that his departure was part of CUMULUS' national budget cuts. "It's frustrating," he said. "Twice I've been part of a successful product on radio, but just the victim of circumstances. It's just an unfortunate situation in radio right now."
SKINNER had worked with his fellow former KENTUCKY POST sportswriter TOM GAMBLE as the "TWO ANGRY GUYS" for over a decade in the market on Sports stations WBOB-A and WSAI-A-WCKY-A (HOMER, THE SPORTS ANIMAL), and joined WFTK when it went to an FM Talk format a year ago and stayed on for the flip to Rock. GAMBLE continues hosting the show with sidekick SISTER KAREN.
