The new minor league baseball BOWLING GREEN HOT RODS have inked TOM GAUTHIER as the first "Voice of the HOT RODS." GAUTHIER, who has called games for the PORTLAND SEA DOGS and NEW HAMPSHIRE FISHER CATS as well as college basketball, football, and hockey, will also serve as Director of Media Relations for the SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE club, an affiliate of the TAMPA BAY RAYS. The HOT RODS will be heard on FOREVER BROADCASTING Sports WBGN-A (THE TICKET)/BOWLING GREEN, KY.
"The HOT RODS are proud to announce TOM GAUTHIER as the first broadcaster in team history," said RODS GM/CEO BRAD TAYLOR. "We expect TOM to bring a real credibility to our radio broadcasts while keeping it interesting and exciting for our fans."
"I am very excited to be joining the HOT RODS for their inaugural season," added GAUTHIER. "To be a part of something new and exciting, in a growing city, is every broadcaster's dream. I can't wait to be able to share the daily HOT RODS' story with everyone in and around BOWLING GREEN."
