Lady A's Hillary Scott Takes Top Honors At SESAC Awards

SESAC held its annual NASHVILLE MUSIC AWARDS last night (11/10) in MUSIC CITY, and HILLARY SCOTT of the CAPITOL/NASHVILLE trio LADY ANTEBELLUM took home the award for "Songwriter Of The Year." SCOTT co-wrote the band's Top 5 hit "Love Don't Live Here" and their current chart-climbing single, "Lookin' For A Good Time."
Other winners of the night include SCOTT's publishing company, SHAW ENUFF SONGS, which was named SESAC's "Publisher Of The Year." Songwriter TRAVIS HILL (a.k.a. SCOOTER CARUSOE) was awarded "Song Of The Year" for writing BNA/NASHVILLE star KENNY CHESNEY's #1 hit, "Better As A Memory."
The CRB (COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS) was also recognized for "40 years of support and dedication to the music and broadcasting community."
