Greenwood Appointed To National Arts Council

The LOS ANGELES TIMES is reporting that Country artist LEE GREENWOOD, known best for his classic "God Bless The USA,' has been appointed by PRESIDENT BUSH to the NATIONAL COUNCIL of the ARTS as one of their 14-members. The appointment was confirmed by the SENATE before coming official. The Council is part of the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS.
GREENWOOD, although appointed by Mr. BUSH, will stay on through the OBAMA Administration as it is a six-year term. To read the entire story click here.
