Sirius XM's New Channel Lineup; More Layoffs Begin

SIRIUS XM RADIO TODAY unveiled new enhanced channel lineups. Effective immediately, and for the first time, XM subscribers will hear SIRIUS' exclusive music, news, talk, sports and comedy shows and channels, and SIRIUS subscribers will have access to XM's equally diverse and unique content.
"This is the ultimate evolution for our channels and sets a new bar for audio entertainment. The breadth and quality of the new programming lineups make it clear that everything worth listening to is now on SIRIUS XM," said SIRIUS XM's Pres./Chief Content Officer SCOTT GREENSTEIN.
XM subscribers will have access to new exclusive music, talk and comedy channels and shows. Here are some of the new selections:
-- BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S E STREET RADIO
-- JIMMY BUFFETT'S RADIO MARGARITAVILLE
-- THE GRATEFUL DEAD CHANNEL
-- EMINEM'S SHADE 45
-- "LITTLE STEVEN" VAN ZANDT'S UNDERGROUND GARAGE and OUTLAW COUNTRY
-- ELVIS RADIOSIRIUS subscribers will have access to new exclusive music channels and shows. Here is some of the new selections:
-- BOB DYLAN'S THEME TIME RADIO HOUR
-- TOM PETTY'S BURIED TREASURE
-- WILLIE'S PLACE
-- B. B. KING'S BLUESVILLE
-- GRAND OLE' OPRY
-- DEEP TRACKS will add veteran rock DJ PAT ST. JOHN.
-- MARKY RAMONE's show, PUNK ROCK BLITZKRIEG
-- The previously announced MAD DOG RADIO sports talk channel will launch soon on SIRIUS channel 123 and XM channel 144.Check out the new SIRIUS lineup here, and the XM lineup here.

As a result of the consoldiation, ALL ACCESS is beginning to hear of additional downsizing and eliminations of positions.Former WASH/WASHINGTON MD/afternooner and current SIRIUS XM's The Blend morning personality and X-Country evening personality RANDI MARTIN is out of XM at year's end.
