The TENNESSEAN is reporting today (11/12) that transformer problems near the SOMMET CENTER in NASHVILLE led to a brief power outage downtown earlier today. A gas leak was also reported a few blocks away, which was later contained.
Neither incident was related, nor will it affect the 42nd Annual CMA AWARDS, which will go on as planned. Doors to the SOMMET CENTER will open at 6p (CT) and the show will begin at 7p (CT) on ABC-TV.
