With the new channel lineup of SIRIUS XM already in place, programming/staff changes are also taking effect. XM's Highway 16 and SIRIUS' New Country have now merged as The Highway. SIRIUS XM VP/Country JON ANTHONY, who was programming Highway 16 will continue to program the station.
SIRIUS' JEREMY TEPPER has been tapped to program Outlaw Country (formerly known as XM's X Country) and Willie's Place. XM's JAY THOMAS will oversee the former XM channel US Country, which is now being called Prime Country. The former SIRIUS Bluegrass channel (now known as Bluegrass Junction) and former XM America channel (now called The Roadhouse) will be programmed by XM's KYLE CANTRELL.
With the changes made, the following people have exited: XM's X-Country PD JESSIE SCOTT (jessiescott@comcast.net) and XM's America MD/night personality/Specials Coordinator COUNTRY DAN DIXON (countrydandixon@aol.com).
