Woods Exiting KTSY

GEM STATE ADVENTIST ACADEMY Christian AC KTSY/BOISE PD/Mornings JERRY WOODS will be leaving the station after 11 years. WOODS is heading to BLUE RIDGE BROADCASTING Christian AC WMIT (106.9 THE LIGHT)/BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC. He will become the head of Creative Services and host the PM drive slot. His first day on the air will be DECEMBER 1st.

"It has been both an honor and a privilege to serve the TREASURE VALLEY for the past 11 years. I've been humbled by the way this community made me welcome and then grasped the vision of reaching the valley by serving people in JESUS' name.  I will miss all the lifelong friends I've made in BOISE. I am looking forward to the new challenge of working at 106.9 THE LIGHT in NORTH CAROLINA.  All of my experiences in IDAHO have made my life richer, and the things I've learned here I'll continue to share on my next adventure," said WOODS.

APD/Middays TRAVIS CULVER will step in as interim PD.
