Lisa Decker New Chairman After Arbitron Radio Advisory Council 2008 Election

ARBITRON has announced the results of the 2008 ARBITRON RADIO ADVISORY COUNCIL elections at the just-concluded meetings (11/12-11/13), with CBS SVP & Market Mgr./SEATTLE & PORTLAND LISA DECKER succeeding NRG MEDIA COO CHUCK DUCOTY as Chairman. DUCOTY will serve as immediate past chairman. 

RADIO ONE's KBXX, KMJQ, & KROI/HOUSTON VP/GM DOUG ABERNETHY was elected Vice-Chairman. The following members have been elected to the council for three-year terms, effective JANUARY 2009:

WHTA/ATLANTA's BRUCE DEMPS -- Black/Urban Format/Top 100 Market
WQXI-A & WSTR/ATLANTA's DON BENSON -- Continuous-Service Markets 1-50
WDWS-A & WHMS/CHAMPAIGN's MIKE HAILE -- Small Market Condensed
