Fox Sports Radio VP/GM Andrew Ashwood Dies

Condolences to family and friends of PREMIERE's FOX SPORTS RADIO VP/GM/Exec. Producer ANDREW ASHWOOD, who died TODAY after suffering a massive heart attack earlier this week. ASHWOOD, who was 51, had been battling cancer.
The ELK GROVE, WI native programmed WKTI/MILWAUKEE, WQAM-A/MIAMI, and WOAI-A and KTKR-A/SAN ANTONIO and also worked in the CHARLOTTE, PHOENIX, ORLANDO, and GREEN BAY markets before joining FOX on NOVEMBER 1, 2003.
PREMIERE President CHARLIE RAHILLY told the company's staff in an e-mail memo that "we lost a beloved member of our PREMIERE family. ANDREW ASHWOOD was an immensely positive force who inspired all who knew him. He was truly a valued mentor, boss, employee, friend and all around good man who accomplished great things. He was the heart and soul of FOX SPORTS RADIO.
"Always our winner, ANDREW will be missed greatly, but his legacy lives on..... 'DARE To Be Great.'"
