Sirius XM To Cover FIS World Cup Skiing

SIRIUS XM RADIO will carry UNIVERSAL SPORTS coverage of FIS World Cup international alpine skiing events on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO channel 125 during the 2008-09 FIS World Cup season beginning SATURDAY and SUNDAY (11/15-16) with the Men’s and Women’s Slalom competition at LEVI, FINLAND.

Also on SATURDAY and SUNDAY, SIRIUS will air a special half-hour pre-race edition of the show IN THE STARTING GATE with international star AKSEL LUND SVINDAL plus exclusive one-on-one interviews with U.S. SKI AND SNOWBOARD ASSOCIATION President and CEO BILL MAROLT and U.S. Ski Team member MARCO SULLIVAN.

The coverage will also air on XM channel 105 as part of the “Best of SIRIUS” programming package.
