COUNTRY CROSSING RECORDS/NASHVILLE has announced they will release "We Are ENTERPRISE: The Album To Help Rebuild ENTERPRISE HIGH SCHOOL," on DECEMBER 16th. The album is a "collection of moving and inspirational songs recorded by some of the most reowned names in Country music to embrace the community of ENTERPRISE, AL and assist in rebuilding ENTERPRISE HIGH SCHOOL."
ENTERPRISE was struck by an F-4 tornado on MARCH 1st, 2007, and the high school sustained damage to the roof, hallways, the gymnasium and football stadium. Nine people were killed, including eight students, and more than 120 were injured in the community. It will take approximately $80 million to rebuild the high school by the 2010-11 school year.
ENTERPRISE resident and RONNIE GILLEY ENTERTAINMENT President RONNIE GILLEY will co-produce the project with famed NASHVILLE producer and STROUDAVARIOUS RECORDS President JAMES STROUD. Country artists like RICHIE McDONALD, LORRIE MORGAN, JOE DIFFIE, AARON TIPPIN, DARRYL WORLEY, and TRACY LAWRENCE have contributed songs to the album.
Several of the artists will travel to ENTERPRISE on the album's street date to make in-store appearances at the local WAL-MART. All record company and artist net proceeds will be directly donated to the fund to rebuild the school. For more info visit www.countrycrossingalabama.com.
