China Goes Country With BamaJam 2009

RONNIE GILLEY ENTERTAINMENT/STROUDAVARIOUS RECORDS Pres. JAMES STROUD and INVESTORS EQUITY of NASHVILLE have entered into an agreement with the PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA to conduct a series of events and concerts to be held in both CHINA and the U.S. The annual BAMAJAM MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL held in ALABAMA every JUNE will also be held next year in HUNAN, CHINA on MAY 21st, 2009.
STROUD/RONNIE GILLEY ENTERTAINMENT will oversee all artist relations and production. At the signing ceremony held FRIDAY (11/14) at the CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION) office in NASHVILLE, CMA CEO TAMMY GENOVESE said: "JAMES STROUD is a long-time and respected member of CMA, and I have been a long-time admirer of his creative vision and passion for Country music. We are both dedicated to the cause of advancing this format and I applaud his efforts to reach an untapped market of potential country consumers in CHINA."
STROUD added: "I am honored and excited to be involved in this first-ever initiative to share Country music and our BAMAJAM concert internationally. This is a celebration of music and entertainment--a common thread for people all over the world."
This year's AMERICAN BAMAJAM will take place JUNE 4th-6th, 2009 in ENTERPRISE, AL. Artists scheduled to perform include BROOKS & DUNN, ALAN JACKSON, TAYLOR SWIFT, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, CHARLIE DANIELS and .38 SPECIAL.
