ESPN RADIO's MIKE GREENBERG and MIKE GOLIC received a record number of e-mails -- 5,350 unique messages -- this morning between 9:05a and 10a ET for a contest soliciting the best six-word essay about the show. While the topic was generated from a story about the GOLF DIGEST U.S. OPEN CHALLENGE in which an amateur will be joining a foursome with MICHAEL JORDAN, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, and another celebrity by submitting the "best six-word essay on why he/she can break 100" in a round of golf, the "grand prize" for the MIKE AND MIKE e-mail contest was an autographed photo of MIKE AND MIKE producers LIAM CHAPMAN and CURT "JOAQUIN" KAPLAN.
The winner? "MIKE's right and MIKE is wrong."
