Longtime "IMUS IN THE MORNING" newsman/sidekick CHARLES MCCORD will take over as host of the 5-6a ET hour at CITADEL Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK, starting MONDAY (11/24). The "IMUS IN THE MORNING NEWS HOUR" was previously hosted by CURTIS SLIWA, who has moved to evenings as host of his own syndicated show for ABC RADIO NETWORKS.
MCCORD, who will continue as IMUS' foil, will be joined in the hour by sports anchor WARNER WOLF, suburban news bureau reporter BABITA HARIANI, northern news bureau reporter SCOTT SALOTTO, and reports from METRO TRAFFIC and THE WEATHER CHANNEL. "We're giving people a great place to land for a concise, but complete, update. Everything they’ll need to know to decide whether it's worth getting up," said MCCORD. "I'm expecting to be able to tell them that it is."
