JOHN LONDON is back on the air at CBS RADIO Talk KIFR (106.9 FREE FM)/SAN FRANCISCO, something he warned would be unlikely after his on-air evisceration of much of the rest of the FREE FM lineup and his phone call to CBS RADIO chief JOEL HOLLANDER on THURSDAY's show.
Starting with a "prayer" asking GOD to kill off "all the people that are mad at me... certainly, DAVID LEE ROTH, ADAM CAROLLA and PENN JILLETTE," and thanking KEN KOHL for allowing "us to put this thing behind us and move on," LONDON apologized to phone screener ERIN for his tirade on THURSDAY but said he won't apologize for anything else he said. "I meant what I said," LONDON said, noting that he did not include middayer DARIAN O'TOOLE in his criticism and that HOLLANDER's response to the on-air phone ambush was just to make sure LONDON is aware that phone calls can't be aired without permission.
I want this thing to succeed... I don't want this thing to fail.
"I want this thing to succeed," LONDON told listeners. "I don't want this thing to fail."
