Ex-WRKO Host Hopkins Pleads Not Guilty

Former ENTERCOM Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON midday host REESE HOPKINS has entered a not guilty plea to rape charges in a NEW YORK court. HOPKINS entered the plea WEDNESDAY at his arraignment on his indictment for first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

HOPKINS was arrested shortly after being laid off by WRKO last month on allegations he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old former friend of his stepdaughter's in 2004. HOPKINS, who is being held on $300,000 bail, vigorously denied the charges when he was initially accused.
