Jim McGuinn Named PD At Minnesota Public Radio's The Current

MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO AAA KCMP (89.3 THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS names JIM MCGUINN as PD replacing STEVE NELSON, who will shift to PD duties of MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO NEWS in mid-JANUARY.
MCGUINN moves from UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA AAA WXPN/PHILADELPHIA, where he has been doing afternoons is also founder/PD for Y-ROCK ON XPN -- WXPN’s Web- and HD-RADIO indie music channel.
He has 15 years of Alternative programming experience, including WEQX/ALBANY, KPNT/ST. LOUIS and WPLY (Y100)/PHILADELPHIA.
