ESPN RADIO's "MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING" will pitch in for the second annual JIMMY V Week to raise money for the V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH with a live broadcast from the atrium of the MEDICAL CITY HOSPITAL in DALLAS on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2. The broadcast is the result of an auction for listeners who bid on having the show originate from their home or workplace during JULY's "DON'T GIVE UP ESPYS V FOUNDATION AUCTION."
Last year's JIMMY V week raised over $700,000 in net proceeds for the foundation named after college basketball coaching legend JIMMY VALVANO, who co-founded the orgainzation with ESPN in 1993, before his death from cancer. JIMMY's brother BOB VALVANO hosts "THE V SHOW" weekend overnights on ESPN RADIO.
