NEXTMEDIA Executive VP/Co-COO JEFF DINETZ and VP/Programming STEVE DAVIS are pleased to announce that MERCURY Top 40 WHTS (ALL HIT 98.9)/QUAD CTIES PD TONY WAITEKUS has resigned his post after nearly a decade, and has accepted the PD post at Top 40 WERO (BOB 93.3)/GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE, NC.

DINESTZ said, "I know of TONY's work firsthand having competed against him in the QUAD CITIES. I was truly impressed with the sound and execution of WHTS. I am looking forward to being on the same team with him in EASTERN CAROLINA."

DAVIS stated, "I am incredibly excited about TONY joining our team. He has a very successful track record in addition to being one of the most respected individuals in our industry. I am looking forward to working with him." WAITEKUS begins at WERO on FEBRUARY 1st.
