Former WCBC/Cumberland, MD Personality Doc Webster Dies

Condolences to family and friends of longtime CUMBERLAND, MD broadcaster JAMES "DOC" WEBSTER JR., who died THURSDAY at 83, according to the CUMBERLAND TIMES-NEWS.  WEBSTER worked at WCUM-A, WTBO-A, and, for the last 23 years of his career, at WCBC-A before his retirement.

The ADAMS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in CUMBERLAND is hosting visitation on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY and a funeral service THURSDAY.  Interment will be held at HILLCREST MEMORIAL PARK.

The family requests that memorials be made, in WEBSTER's name, to the ALLEGANY COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER, 716 Furnace St., CUMBERLAND, MD 21502.
