Q93 Kicks Off With 10,000 Songs; Search For A PD Is On

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP has flipped '80s Oldies WMYU/KNOXVILLE to Country as WCYQ, "Today's Continuous Country." The 'flip' took place on WEDNESDAY (11/26) at 5p (CT) and the announcement was made by JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP VP/GM of KNOXVILLE OPERATIONS, CHRIS PROTZMAN. 

The station kicked off with 10,000 songs in a row, with plans of several other promotions to follow.
