Changes At WWNU/WWNQ; McKay Named GM And Ryan Named OM/PD

Yep, he's in charge!

As ALL ACCESS told you earlier today (NET NEWS 12/1), DOUBLE O RADIO/COLUMBIA GM HERBIE MARTINEZ exited the group last week. It has now been announced that CHUCK McKAY has been named as the new GM. 

McKAY has served as a marketing consultant for the two station cluster for the last couple of years. He most recently held the title of Regional Manager for FIRST BROADCASTING/DALLAS. His first day on the job is today (12/1).

In other news at DOUBLE O/COLUMBIA, APD/MD/morning co-host TYLER RYAN has been named OM/PD for sister stations Country WWNU and Classic Country WWNQ (Currently known as COLUMBIA'S CHRISTMAS STATION). RYAN, who has been with the station since APRIL 2005, replaces RICK TALYOR who exited the station in JULY (NET NEWS 7/15). ERIC CHANEY had been handling the OM/PD duties on an interim basis since AUGUST (NET NEWS 8/21).
