Servatius Replaces Katz At WBT

ALL ACCESS hears that evening host TARA SERVATIUS is moving to afternoon drive 3-6p ET weekdays on GREATER MEDIA Talk WBT-A-F/CHARLOTTE, effective DECEMBER 8th. SERVATIUS will replace JEFF KATZ in the afternoon slot. 

An e-mail sent to WBT listeners MONDAY said that VP/Market Manager RICK JACKSON and PD BILL WHITE would take to the air in KATZ' shift to answer questions about the change. JACKSON, in the e-mail, called SERVATIUS, who also writes for alternative weekly CREATIVE LOAFING, "increasingly proven to be a superstar in waiting. Her show is less about politics and more about a journalistic view of how local government operates. She's a brilliant investigative reporter and effectively constructs her views based on real case studies and supporting data."

In response to a request for comment by ALL ACCESS, GREATER MEDIA issued a statement saying, "We are very grateful for the many contributions that JEFF KATZ has made to WBT AM & FM. He is a consummate professional, and we wish him the very best."
