Already experiencing turmoil from the aftermath of the now-infamous RUSSELL BRAND-JONATHAN ROSS prank call incident on RADIO 2, the BBC is now apologizing for an incident in which actor JOHN BARROWMAN exposed himself on a webcam during a BBC RADIO 1 show. BARROWMAN, the latest star of "DOCTOR WHO," was asked by "SWITCH" co-host NICK GRIMSHAW about his reputation for "getting your willy out in interviews. Is this going to happen today?" BARROWMAN responded by briefly flashing his genitals in the studio.
Co-host ANNIE MAC apologized for the stunt before the show ended, and BARROWMAN issued a statement apologizing as well, saying that he was "joining in the light-hearted and fun banter of the show and went too far. I was wrong to do this and it will never happen again." The BBC said that while the show "overstepped its mark," nothing could be seen online and only one listener complaint was received.
