DIAL GLOBAL and COX RADIO Talk WSB-A/ATLANTA syndicated host CLARK HOWARD tells the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION that he will not run for Mayor of ATLANTA next year. HOWARD had been considering a run to replace incumbent SHIRLEY FRANKLIN, who will be leaving due to term limits.
The host said that his decision was based on a desire to spend time with his children. "You only have one shot at raising your kids and I’ll have another shot, when I’m older, to run for public service," he told the paper.
