VALORY MUSIC CO./NASHVILLE artist JEWEL has recruited some of her famous friends to auction off handwritten lyrics of their hits to benefit JEWEL's PROJECT CLEAN WATER charity. CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BROOKS & DUNN, KATY PERRY and JASON MRAZ are a few of the artists who have donated their lyrics to the auction, which is taking place now until DECEMBER 18th at www.jeweljk.com.
JEWEL said: "PROJECT CLEAN WATER has always been my passion along with music. I am so excited to be able to find a way to tie the two together with this auction. I am also very blessed to have the support of my musician friends who will help make a stronger impact on the donations from the auction."
PROJECT CLEAN WATER "is a non-profit charitable foundation that is working to improve the quality of life for millions of people, by helping to provide clean water on a global scale." Managed by JEWEL's brother, SHANE, PROJECT CLEAN WATER was founded in 1997 and "has helped over 30 communities overcome their individual drinking water problems in 13 different countries on 5 different continents. The project is fully funded by JEWEL through her ticket sales and donations."
