Kate Fills Some Semis

PEAK BROADCASTING Hot AC KCIX (MIX 106.7)/BOISE Morning Show co-host KATE MCGWIRE set up camp on top of a Semi and promised to live up there until listeners filled it full of food for the IDAHO FOOD BANK. She packed a space heater, lots of hot chocolate, a little Christmas tree, and set up her tent on the semi ready for the long haul.

"I was ready for a week up here but this is amazing!" she said ... when a SECOND SEMI was quickly filled. "The shelves at the food bank were bare; the need is increasing so fast at the Food Bank they can't keep up with demand. I knew our listeners would respond but this so much bigger than I expected. Now our goal is 106,000 pounds -- I'm staying up here until we do it!"
