Kudos to CLEAR CHANNEL Country KASE/AUSTIN, as they collected 1,000 coats and $7,100 in monetary donations in five hours at the KASE MORNING CREW's annual BREAKFAST BROADCAST on WEDNESDAY (12/3).
MORNING CREW members BAMA, ROB and HEATHER broadcast live from RUDY's COUNTRY STORE & BAR-B-Q and encouraged listeners to donate coats. The giving listeners were rewarded with free breakfast tacos.
Over 29,000 coats have been collected altogether this year from KASE, Central TEXAS elementary, middle & high schools and other local public coat drives. This SATURDAY (12/6), KASE morning co-host BAMA will head to the PALMER EVENT CENTER in AUSTIN, dressed as SANTA CLAUS, to distribute the coats to kids and their families.
