Triple M/Melbourne Host Richard Marsland Dead At 32

Condolences to family and friends of AUSTEREO Rock 3MMM (TRIPLE M)/MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA morning co-host RICHARD MARSLAND, who was found dead in his car at SHIPROCK FALLS, VICTORIA on SATURDAY morning. MARSLAND was 32, and police say the do not believe foul play was involved at this time.
MARSLAND started his career in mornings at AUSTEREO Top 40 5SSA (SAFM)/ADELAIDE, then hosted AM ADELAIDE on SEVEN NETWORK affiliate SAS-7/ADELAIDE. He also co-hosted the "LATE DATE SHOW" with BESSIE BARDOT, heard on AUSTEREO's 2DAY FM/SYDNEY, 6PPM (92.9)/PERTH, and 3FOX (FOX FM)/MELBOURNE and appeared on "TOUGH LOVE WITH MICK MOLLOY," "THE SHEBANG," and "GET THIS" on the TRIPLE M stations in MELBOURNE, SYDNEY, BRISBANE, and ADELAIDE. In addition, he wrote for the SBS TV series "NEWSTOPIA" and wrote a column in the ADELAIDE SUNDAY MAIL. He joined the TRIPLE M morning show, hosted by PETE MELLIAR and MYF WARHURST, in JANUARY 2008.
