Marconi Exits KUFO

CBS RADIO Active Rock KUFO/PORTLAND 2-7p PT host MARCONI has exited the station. Evening team CORT WEBBER and FATBOY ROBERTS move to 3-7p and comic "BIG JIM" WILLIG, who served as MARCONI's producer/sidekick, takes over 7p-midnight.

On his MYSPACE page, MARCONI tells fans, "Today I was another victim in the windfall of layoffs across the country. For the first time in my career I wasn't let go because of something I said or did. A lot of great people are losing their jobs at my now former employer and many other companies everywhere. So as I am sad that I won't be doing a show on KUFO anymore. I know that I will return eventually somewhere as your media dumpling. Thanks for being the best audience in the world. I have always had a blast with you guys and I feel lucky to have been your host for 11 years in PORTLAND Radio."
