Bewkes Adds Chairman Slot At Time Warner

TIME WARNER CEO JEFF BEWKES will, as expected, add duties as Chairman of the company starting JANUARY 1. BEWKES, whose contract gave him the option to resign if not named Chairman by the beginning of 2009, is assuming the role being vacated by RICHARD PARSONS, who announced his DECEMBER 31 retirement as Chairman earlier this year. PARSONS held both CEO and Chairman positions until BEWKES, previously Presidnet and COO, took over as CEO this year.

The company owns CNN RADIO and AOL RADIO.
