The LOS ANGELES DODGERS are in search of another TV voice after deciding to restrict CHARLEY STEINER to radio broadcasting only for the 2009 season.
STEINER had been splitting time between working with RICK MONDAY on the DODGERS RADIO NETWORK (flagship CITADEL Sports KABC-A/LOS ANGELES) and television (CBS-owed independent KCAL-TV and FOX SPORTS WEST), but will stick with MONDAY on radio this season. Since 2005, STEINER has been filling in for VIN SCULLY on TV games telecast from east of the ROCKIES, with former DODGER pitcher JERRY REUSS taking STEINER's place in the radio booth for those games.
