CHICAGO WHITE SOX television voice DARRIN JACKSON will move to the radio booth in 2009 as an analyst alongside play-by-play voice ED FARMER. JACKSON, a former major league outfielder, has been doing TV with HAWK HARRELSON on COMCAST SPORTSNET CHICAGO, TRIBUNE CW affiliate WGN-TV, and WEIGEL independent WCIU-TV/CHICAGO for nine seasons.
The WHITE SOX are heard on a network flagshipped by CBS RADIO Sports WSCR-A (670 THE SCORE). The SOX signed STEVE STONE in SEPTEMBER to take over JACKSON's job on TV starting next season through 2014.
