Veteran air talent BILL GABLE has joined PRIME TIME RADIO Adult Standards CHWO-A/TORONTO for afternoon drive duties. Better known as AM 740, the 50KW station can be heard after dark across a wide swath of CANADA and the Eastern U.S.
GABLE is legendary for his 1970s airwork on AM Top 40 powerhouses CKLW-A/WINDSOR-DETROIT, KHJ-A/LOS ANGELES (where he was known as BOB GABLE), WEAM-A/WASHINGTON DC, and WHBQ-A/MEMPHIS. In the 80s and 90s, he was heard on a variety of signals ranging from full service powerhouse WLW-A/CINCINNATI to groundbreaking "Soft Rock And Roll" WMMO/ORLANDO. GABLE also owns and operates BILL GABLE VOICE WORKS.
