Radio winners of the ALFRED I. DUPONT-COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AWARDS for broadcast journalism include CHICAGO PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial Talk WBEZ/CHICAGO/NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO/PUBLIC RADIO INTERNATIONAL's "THIS AMERICAN LIFE" for its acclaimed episode on the economy, "THE GIANT POOL OF MONEY," reported by ALEX BLUMBERG and ADAM DAVIDSON, and NPR's "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED" for coverage of the CHENGDU earthquake anchored by MELISSA BLOCK and ROBERT SIEGEL and a series on sexual abuse of Native American women, reported by LAURA SULLIVAN.
The three radio entries were among 13 overall winners of the awards, which will be presented at a ceremony on JANUARY 22nd at COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY.
