NIKKI SIXX, co-founder of MOTLEY CRUE, leader of his new band SIXX:AM and author of "HEROIN DIAIRIES," adds contributor at USRN's HARDDRIVE and HARDDRIVE XL to his lengthy resume'. The feature will be known as “SIXX SENSE” and will be delivered to the network from wherever NIKKI SIXX is in the world. The announcement came from USRN’s EVP/Programming ANDY DENEMARK and Sr. Producer/Rock Programming ROXY MYZAL.
“One of the main chores we have at HARDDRIVE is to deliver the biggest stars in rock to their loyal fans," MYZAL said. "By having NIKKI SIXX as a regular contributor and answering listener questions, we’re not only bringing his star power to the airwaves, but doing it in an engaging way. Not to sound too much like a fan, but this is awesome!”
“I've always loved the medium of radio, and with the mobile technology available today, I can add something to the HARDDRIVE shows wherever I am and share my experience, whether with music, recovery, photography or life in general," SIXX said. "I'm really looking forward to this."
With his “SIXX SENSE” feature, which will appear in both the weekend and the weekday versions of HARDDRIVE programming, SIXX will answer questions and offer his point of view on a wide range of topics, from providing tips to new musicians to providing advice on the topic of alcohol or drug addiction. Listeners to HARDDRIV and HARDRIVE XL can feed their questions to NIKKI SIXX by using a toll-free hotline, 877-MUSIC-11.
