Chicago's Nine FM Caught American Idol Fever

Those bright orange panchos seen all over MONDAY night's season premiere of AMERICAN IDOL were courtesy of NINE FM/CHICAGO. Look like NINE FM Morning Show STEVE FISHER & JOEY FORTMAN planned ahead and sent their own MEGA 9-BOY out to SOLDIER FIELD to distribute panchos during a rainy audition day over the summer. It paid off with some nice IDOL exposure on FOX, as well as plenty of photos on the AMERICAN IDOL website.

Meanwhile, STEVE & JOEY and NINE FM have also adopted GINA GLOCKSEN from NAPERVILLE, IL as their hometown favorite for AMERICAN IDOL this season.
