BONNEVILLE'S new WASHINGTON POST RADIO (WTWP AM 1500 and FM 107.7) has officially become the new home of the WASHINGTON NATIONALS baseball broadcasts, as the team announced a three year deal with BONNEVILLE, according to the WASHINGTON POST.
The deal gives the team's broadcasts much better market coverage, as last year's games we're aired on signal-challenged WFED-A and FM duo WWZZ and WWVZ, which resulted in reception complaints from fans. The games will also be carried on a translator at 104.3 in LEESBURG, VA.
Additionally, the NATIONALS acquire a new play-by-play voice, as DAVE JAGELER slides into the booth, replacing DAVE SHEA, who wasn't re-hired after last season. JAGELER hails from the BOSTON RED SOX AAA affilite the PAWTUCKET RED SOX.
