WEDNESDAY brings major changes to FOX SPORTS RADIO, as CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KLAC-A/LOS ANGELES afternoon team PETROS PAPADAKIS and MATT "MONEY" SMITH are joining the national network for evenings ET/afternoons (PT), and KLAC midday "LOOSE CANNONS" co-host STEVE HARTMAN will join "THE DRIVE" host CHRIS MYERS for middays with HARTMAN's former KLAC co-host VIC "THE BRICK" JACOBS serving as update anchor and sidekick for both shows. THE CONTENT FACTORY's DAN PATRICK show will be offered 9a-noon (ET).
KLAC VP/GM DON MARTIN has added oversight of FSR as VP/GM to his duties, and KLAC will carry the full FSR lineup plus PREMIERE's JIM ROME. The station has dropped THE CONTENT FACTORY's TONY BRUNO to carry FSR's J.T. THE BRICK.
The network bids goodbye to several shows, including "OUT OF BOUNDS WITH CRAIG SHEMON AND JAMES WASHINGTON," the evening show with ANDREW SICILIANO and KRYSTAL FERNANDEZ, and BEN MALLER's overnight show. MALLER's overnight show will be replaced with "FOX SPORTS REWIND," featuring interview segments from the day's programming.
At KLAC, former "LOOSE CANNONS" midday co-host and former LAKER MYCHAL THOMPSON is exiting but continues as color commentator for LAKER broadcasts, which will move to crosstown ESPN Sports KSPN-A (710 ESPN)/LOS ANGELES next season.
