WFLZ's MJ Interviews Death Metal Band "Cannibal Corpse"

OK, what's a Top 40 station like WFLZ (933 FLZ)/TAMPA morning man MJ doing chatting with Death Metal Band CANNIBAL CORPSE, you ask?

Well, last TUESDAY's AMERICAN IDOL (1/17) rolled out a bunch of "Rock" contestants, and one of the contestants sounded like they were singing a CANNIBAL CORPSE song, and since MJ RADIO NETWORK Exec. Producer/on-air personality JOEY B is a huge metal dude, he mentioned it on-air, and it turns out CANNIBAL CORPSE lives in the TAMPA market.

CANNIBAL CORPSE drummer PAUL did an 8 minute bit on the air all about the international popularity of Death Metal, and played snippets from their upcoming CD. Betcha can't guess the title? OK ... how does "Kill" sound to ya?  Does this mean MJ's gonna have a weekly Death Metal feature?  OM/PD JEFF KAPUGI was heard to snicker, "Over my dead body!"
