  OFCOM will continue to be headed by LORD (DAVID) CURRIE, who has been reappointed Chairman of the UK's radio regulator for another two year term ending JULY 31, 2009 by Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport TESSA JOWELL and Secretary of State for Trade and Industry ALAN JOHNSON. CURRIE's current term is set to expire JULY 31, 2007, and the new term will be tacked on starting on that date.
